David spent his early years growing up in the Albuquerque's North Valley, and moved to Torreon, New Mexico in the late 1970's.  His childhood was spent fishing in Tres Ritos and Pecos with his grandfather, where he learned to love the outdoors.  He has shared his love of fishing with his wife, children and grandchildren.

He gave 33 years to corporate world while raising his children together with his wife in Torreon and is now able to work on his passion of woodworking in the shop he and their son built.

One of David's first piece was a hand-crafted baby bed he built in their one-bedroom apartment for their daughter in 1988.  He has since re-built the baby bed into a cradle for their daughter's new baby.

Whether a hand-carved cross, a candle holder, chakra tray or hand-carved angel, David's work is all hand-crafted and made with local products from the Manzano Mountains.
